The separation effect between pyrrhotite and magnetite was dramatically enhanced in terms of both magnetite recovery and desulfurization ratio. The ideal composition of the mixed collector was determined by batch flotation tests to be 40 wt % (BX) 2 and 60 wt % NaBX for pyrrhotite flotation.
